A man has been released on bail after appearing on an assault charge at Lerwick Sheriff Court.
Alistair George Birse, 23, of 6 Hillhead, Lerwick, was charged with assaulting a man on Commercial Road on Saturday by punching him in the face to his injury, whilst having been bailed from Lerwick Sheriff Court on 22nd February.
The case was continued without plea until 9th November.
